Holi Hai!!!

Hey guys! Holi hai!!!!!

Finally it is here, the festival of color
To herald the advent of spring and summer
Tis the season to ring out the old and ring in the new
To get rid of the cobwebs and all the mildew.

The trees are swaying and the birds are singing
The water has finally stopped freezing
So get ready to shake your leg to some hindi singing
Today is the day for dancing and drinking!

So go ahead all you people go dress in white
To take on all the colors that will make your mood bright
Red and yellow, and blue and green
A dash of each will make you feel like a teen.

Fill the balloons and the pitchkaris with water
If it’s colored so much the better.
Catch your friend with the spray when he is looking under
And get in to the mood of Holi wonder.

It’s the single day of the year when you don’t ponder
You just wake up and to the color wander
A little of the color and a little of Bhang
Then away you are in to the world of song.

I say it is the season of spring so come on and celebrate
Take joy in the land that is now ready to burst after the long wait.
It is the festival that heralds joy and hope
It is the festival that puts the cold finally on hold.

So let yourself go and shake a leg
Coz its Holi and its everybody’s day
To celebrate your freedom and lament no more.
So dear friends holi hai!!!!!bolo aur thoda hi sahi par bhang zaroor pee lo phir Kya holi hai bolo!!!

This is so fun and joyful, thank you! And I want to say I really enjoyed your story your left on my blog about your friend helping spark life into your life when things were really dark. It's so important that we be open to other's during times of need. I'm happy it all worked out.

Peace~

Hi there and thanks for visiting! If you want to learn how to quilt, check out: www.crazymomquilts.blogspot.com or google basic quilting - there are millions of websites out there with some great basic items to make. Basting spray is an adhesive spray that you use to fasten the quilt back, batting (inner layer) and top together without using safety pins. Hope this helps and thanks for visiting!
